Teaching and Learning Process:
- a. Research-Driven Learning – Essential Skill Development: Research is fundamental to the lawyer’s craft. At PES University, students have access to premier national and international law databases, including Manupatra, SCC Online, Hein Online, LexisNexis and JSTOR. This access supports comprehensive research training, with elective courses across four specialized groups, enabling students to tailor their expertise.
- b. Experiential Learning: By means of Teaching Practice, students gain firsthand experience in teaching law thereby bridging the gap between legal theory, pedagogy and classroom engagement. Additionally, through Legal Services, the students work on real and stimulative legal cases under faculty supervision. Further, Moot Court and simulations provide practical exposure to courtroom advocacy through internal or external competitions. Centre for Policy, Research and Drafting ensures sufficient experience to students in research and policy drafting arenas
- c. Zero Hour – Insights from Leading Minds: Every week, prominent speakers, including Civil Servants, Judges, Lawyers, Policy Makers, and Industry Experts conduct engaging sessions on contemporary topics. Past guests have included top experts in law, public policy, management, and the arts. These interactions open doors to invaluable networking and mentorship opportunities.
