Second / Final Round Counseling for B.Tech Admissions - September 1, 2024

Please upload your class 12 / 2nd PUC scores by clicking the link below. An aggregate score of 60% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) in your class 12 / 2nd PUC exam is a must. Ignore this step if you have already uploaded your scores.
The necessary documents should be provided at the counseling session. Without this, the candidate will not be allowed to the counseling / seat selection process.

PES University (Ring Road Campus) - 100 feet outer ring road, Banashankari 3rd Stage, Bangalore 560085. There is no online counseling. It is mandatory for the candidate to come in-person to the above-mentioned address to attend the counseling.

Process of Admission

Candidates are invited to the counseling based on their ranks, as listed below.

Candidates can report to the counseling venue on date and time corresponding to their ranks as given in the above table.

Counseling Process
|
Please carry the following items to the Counseling.
|
Four DDs in favour of PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND, payable at Bangalore:
- For Rs. 3,80,000/-
- For Rs. 60,000/-
- For Rs. 40,000/-
- For Rs. 10,000/-
Candidates who have already blocked their seat in higher fee quota need not get any DD's, but should get original fee receipt for the amount paid along with photocopy of the original fee receipt. If the original fee receipt has not been collected yet, it needs to be collected from the Office of Admissions at PES University Ring Road Campus before attending the counseling.
- DDs for partial amounts will not be entertained/ accepted by the University and such candidates will not be allowed to participate in the seat selection process. Please understand, all four DDs as mentioned above are mandatory
- If a candidate selects a seat in Computer Science Engineering (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus)/ Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus), then the candidate should submit all four DDs of Rs. 3,80,000, Rs. 60,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 10,000 to the University
- If a candidate selects a seat in Electronics & Communication Engineering (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus), then the candidate should submit only three DDs of Rs. 3,80,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 10,000 to the University. They can retain the DD for Rs. 60,000 with them
- If a candidate selects a seat in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Biotechnology, then the candidate should submit only two DDs of Rs. 3,80,000 and Rs. 10,000 to the University. They can retain the DDs of Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000 with them
- No other payment options are accepted. For the registration process to be complete, candidate should produce all the four DDs. Without the proper DDs, seat selection will not be allowed.
- The DD's will be collected from the candidate only if the candidate avails a seat in the seat selection process. If the candidate does not get a seat or rejects the seat, the candidate can take back all the DD's with them.
- Those candidates who have already participated in the first-round counseling but have surrendered the seats and participating again in the second-round counseling need not get Rs. 10,000 DD for the second-round counseling, but they have to get DDs for Rs. 3,80,000/-, Rs, 60,000 and Rs. 40,000/- again. (It is the responsibility of the candidate to take the refund from the University and make the DD again for the second-round counseling).
- Those candidates who already have a seat in hand from the first round counseling and trying for upgradation of specialization/campus need to follow as below…
- If you are holding a PESSAT seat from the first round counseling in Computer Science Engineering (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus) or in Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus), you need not get any additional DD to the University for the second round counseling. But you must get the original fee receipts, original acknowledgement receipt and the PESSAT rank card.
- If you are holding a PESSAT seat from the first round counseling in Electronics and Communication Engineering (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus), you need to get an additional DD for Rs. 60,000 in favor of “PES University General Fund”, payable at Bangalore. This is mandatory. Along with this, you should also get the original fee receipts, original acknowledgement receipt and the PESSAT rank card. If you do not get/ opt for Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) in the second round counseling, you can retain Rs. 60,000 DD with you.
- If you are holding a PESSAT seat from the first round counseling in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Biotechnology, you need to get additional DDs for Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000 in favor of “PES University General Fund”, payable at Bangalore. This is mandatory. Along with this, you should also get the original fee receipts, original acknowledgement receipt and the PESSAT rank card. If you do not get/ opt for Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) but if you get and opt for Electronics and Communication Engineering (at either the ring road campus or electronic city campus), you can retain Rs. 60,000 DD with you but need to submit the DD for Rs. 40,000 to the University. If you do not get/ opt for Computer Science Engineering/ Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)/ Electronics & Communication Engineering, you can retain both DDs of Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 60,000 with you.
- Those candidates who have not participated in the first round counseling and willing to participate in the second round of counseling should get the 4 DD’s as mentioned above for Rs. 3,80,000, Rs. 60,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 10,000.
- Please bring the PESSAT Hall Ticket & Rank Card (Very Important) Print your rank card.
- 10+2 Marks Card (2nd PUC).
- 10th Marks Card (SSLC).
- Transfer Certificate/ College Leaving Certificate (if applicable).
- Migration Certificate (If other than PU Board) (if applicable).
- Passport & Stamp Size Photos 6 Copies each.
- Aadhar card.
- Pan card copy of the parent and candidate (for opening a bank account).
- It is mandatory for the candidate to be present in person at the prescribed reporting time. A candidate will be granted an exception to allow his guardian/ parent to represent the candidate only in the case of the candidate attending the CET Verification Process the same day/ session. In such a case, please take prior approval by downloading the Authorization Letter - and getting it attested from PES University in person before the day of counseling. This has to be submitted with the proof document of the candidate attending the CET Verification Process.

Original + 2 Sets of Self Attested Photo copies should be provided in the above-mentioned order (This is required only for the freshly appearing candidates and for those candidates who have surrendered their seat from the first round. Those candidates who already have a seat in hand and trying for upgradation of specialization/campus need not get any of these documents)

Timeline
3 Step Counseling Process

Step 1
|
Registration Process (at the Golden Jubilee block) - Candidate should report at the prescribed reporting time to their counseling centre and complete the registration process. The registration process includes
- Verification of Govt ID of the candidate
- Verification of DDs (Demand Drafts) – Not applicable for existing higher fee category candidates
- Verification of 12th std/ 2nd PU marks
- PESSAT Hall ticket and Rank Card
- Fingerprint biometric verification to be used to confirm if the candidate who took the test is the same candidate attending the counseling & admissions

Step 2
|
Counseling and Seat Selection (at the Golden Jubilee block Auditorium) - Candidate will take the required seat based on the following options
Option A: Candidate will take the seat, submit DDs, all originals documents, and complete the Admission Process.
Option B: Reject the seat as the desired seat is not available or for any other reasons.

Step 3
|
Documentation and Welcome Kit (at the Golden Jubilee block) - After seat selection at the Golden Jubilee block Auditorium and submission of DD's, candidates will move to the documentation area of the Golden Jubilee block to complete the documentation process and to collect the welcome kit.
This process might take 4 or 5 hours to complete. The candidates are requested to be patient & complete the process on the same day.

- Candidate who has secured a seat through PESSAT JEE Mains quota need not compete for a seat through regular PESSAT quota as the fee structure for both the quota are the same for all the years of study. However, they can participate in the PESSAT counseling for an upgradation of their specialization if they so desire.
- If the candidate has blocked a seat through higher fee quota/ management quota, and if he/she secures a seat through PESSAT quota, the higher fee quota/ management quota seat (either confirmed or waiting) will be automatically forfeited and the difference amount between the higher fee quota fee and the PESSAT quota fee will be refunded to the candidate automatically.
- If the candidate secures a seat through PESSAT/ JEE quota to PES University and also secures a seat through KCET to PES University for the same campus and for the same specialization, refund will be issued to the candidate for PESSAT/ JEE Mains quota seat and the candidate can do the final admissions through KCET quota.
