Eligibility: Please upload your class 12 / 2nd PUC scores by clicking the link below (Ignore this if you have already uploaded your scores). An aggregate score of 50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) in your class 12 / 2nd PUC exam is a must.
The necessary documents should be provided at the counseling session. Without this, the candidate will not be allowed to the counseling / seat selection process.

Candidates can report to the counseling venue on date and time corresponding to their ranks as given in the above table.
Candidates with ranks over 5000 are required to check our website, http://pes.edu/ at 12:30 PM and 4:30 PM on 5th November (the only day on which counseling will take place), wherein the availability of seats/ specializations for session 3 will be updated regularly. Only if the candidate is interested in the available seat/ specialization updated on our website, he/she can appear for the counseling process and not otherwise.

COUNSELING PROCESS
|
Please carry the following items to the Counseling.
|
Three DDs in favour of PES UNIVERSITY GENERAL FUND payable at Bangalore:
- For Rs. 3,60,000/-
- For Rs. 50,000/-
- For Rs. 10,000/- (Candidates who have already blocked their seat in higher fee quota need not get any DD's but should get original fee receipt for the amount paid along with photocopy of the original fee receipt. If the original fee receipt has not been collected yet, it needs to be obtained from the Office of Admissions at PES University Ring Road Campus before attending the counseling.)

No other payment options are accepted. For the registration process to be complete, candidate should produce the DDs. Without the proper DDs, seat selection will not be allowed
|

If a candidate selects a seat in CSE (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus)/ AIML, then the candidate should submit all three DDs of Rs. 3,60,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 10,000 to the University |

If a candidate selects a seat in ECE (either at ring road campus or electronic city campus)/ ME/ EEE/ BT, then the candidate should submit only two DDs of Rs. 3,60,000 and Rs. 10,000 to the University. They can retain the DD for Rs. 50,000 with them. |

DDs for partial amounts will not be entertained/ accepted by the University and such candidates will not be allowed to participate in the seat selection process |

The DD's will be collected from the candidate only if the candidate avails a seat in the seat selection process. If the candidate rejects the seat or does not get a seat, then the candidate can take back all the DD's with them.
- Those students who have already participated in the first round of counseling but have surrendered the seats and participating again in the second round need not get Rs. 10,000 DD for the second round, but they have to get a DD for Rs. 3,60,000/- and Rs. 50,000/- again. (It is the responsibility of the candidate to take the refund from the University through cheque, encash it and make the DD again for the second round)
- Those students who already have a seat in hand from the first round counseling and trying for upgradation of branch/campus need not get any DD’s. They can just come with the original fee receipts, original acknowledgement receipt and the rank card
- Those students who have not participated in the first round counseling and willing to participate in the second round of counseling should get the 3 DD’s as mentioned above for Rs. 3,60,000, Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 10,000.

It is mandatory for the candidate to be present in person at the prescribed reporting time. A candidate will be granted an exception to allow his guardian / parent to represent the candidate only in the case of the candidate attending the CET Verification Process the same day / session. In such a case, please take prior approval by downloading the < Authorization Letter > and getting it attested from PES University in person before the day of counseling. This has to be submitted with the proof document of the candidate attending the CET Verification Process. |

Note:
- Original + 2 Sets of Self Attested Photo copies should be provided in the above-mentioned order. (This is required only for the freshly appearing candidates and for those candidates who have surrendered their seat from the first round. Those candidates who already have a seat in hand and trying for upgradation of branch/campus need not get any of these documents)
- Only candidate + 1 Parent / Guardian will be allowed for counseling / Seat selection process.

3 Step Counseling Process
|
Step 1. |
Registration Process (at the Registration arena) - Candidate should report at the prescribed reporting time to their counseling centre and complete the registration process. The registration process includes |

Verification of DDs (Demand Drafts) – Not applicable for students trying for upgradation of branch/campus and for existing higher fee category students |

Step 2. |
Counseling and Seat Selection (at the MRD block Auditorium) - Candidate will take the required seat based on the following options |
Option A: |
Candidate will take the seat, submit DDs, all originals, and complete the Admission Process. |
Option B: |
Reject the seat as the desired seat is not available or for any other reasons. |
Step 3. |
Documentation and Welcome Kit (at the Golden Jubilee block) - After seat selection at the MRD block auditorium and submission of DD's, candidates will move to the Golden Jubilee block to complete the documentation process and to collect the welcome kit. |
This process might take 4 or 5 hours to complete. The candidates are requested to be patient & complete the process on the same day. |

Note:
|
- Candidate who has secured a seat through PESSAT JEE Mains quota need not compete for a seat through PESSAT quota as the fee structure for both the programs are the same for all the years of study. However, they can participate in the PESSAT counseling for an upgradation of their specialization if they so desire

If the candidate has blocked a seat through higher fee quota/ management quota, and if he/she secures a seat through PESSAT quota, the higher fee quota/ management quota seat (either confirmed or waiting) will be automatically forfeited and the difference amount between the higher fee quota fee and the PESSAT quota fee will be refunded to the candidate automatically
- If the candidate secures a seat through PESSAT quota and also secures a seat through KCET to PES University for the same campus and for the same specialization, refund will be issued to the candidate for PESSAT/ JEE Mains quota seat and the candidate can do the final admissions through KCET quota.
