Online PESSAT Counseling 2021 for candidates from outside Bengaluru - December 4, 5
PESSAT 2nd round counseling is now scheduled for December 4 and 5, 2021, due to postponement of the KCET seat allotment date. All other information presented earlier will remain the same as enclosed below.
Dear Candidate,

We have received numerous mails regarding attending our counseling sessions at PES University, Bengaluru Campus. Candidates and parents alike have expressed the prevailing covid restrictions in the various states to be a limiting factor to attend Counseling. Keeping the interest of the candidates and his/her future, PES University will be providing an alternative to participate in the Counseling process 2021 only for candidates outside of Bengaluru.
The following process needs to be followed by the candidates from outside Bengaluru to participate in the online counseling process 2021 for B.Tech…
1. Deposit of the full fee in advance before the counseling process: on or before 2nd December, 2021, 7 PM.
  1. You will be allowed to participate in the online counseling and the seat selection process only after making the advance deposit of the fee
  2. Please make a deposit of Rs. 3,40,000 (annual fee) and Rs. 10,000 (one-time administrative charges) through NEFT/RTGS to the below mentioned account. Please note that you need to transfer Rs. 3,40,000 and Rs. 10,000 separately as two separate transactions, one after another and not together. This is mandatory. Candidates who have blocked a seat through the management/higher fee quota need not pay again. They can enter their details in the form given in this mailer and we will enrol them to the counseling process.

    1. If the candidate has already participated in the first round counseling and selected and thereafter have surrendered the seat and participating again in the second/final round counseling need not deposit Rs. 10,000, but must deposit Rs. 3,40,000 again
    2. If the candidate already has a seat in hand from the first round of counseling and trying for upgradation of branch/campus, he/she need not deposit any amount. However, he/she needs to fill the form given below in this emailer without which we will not be able to enrol the candidate for the counseling process
    3. Those candidates who have not participated in the first round counseling and want to participate in the second/final round online counseling must deposit Rs. 3,40,000 and Rs. 10,000 through RTGS as per the details given below to be eligible to participate in the counseling process

  3. After following the previous step, please fill up the following form and submit. This is mandatory. If you do not follow this step, your payment/participation will not be acknowledged and you may not be allowed for the seat selection process. Please understand that you can submit this only once and hence be very careful while submitting the information. You are required to submit this on or before 2nd December, 2021, 7 PM.

  4. In case you do not opt for a seat or do not get a seat during the counseling process, the full deposited amount will be refunded to your account within 72 hours by the University without any deductions to the account which is given by you in the form above (not applicable for candidates trying for upgradation of branch/campus).

  1. After verification of your payment/participation details, we will share the link with you to attend the online presentation and the online counseling and seat selection process.
  2. You will have to login with that link as per the date and time allotted for your PESSAT rank as given in the above table to attend the presentation and counseling/seat selection process. There will be a video call and hence the candidate must have their mic and camera with a good internet connection to go through the process.
3. Submission of original documents to the University: Within 72 hours of seat selection
  1. This is the final round of admission to PES University. The candidates who will be selected will be required to submit original hard copy marks card of 10th and 12th grade along with other requisite documents as per the link within 72 hours duration failing which the seat and the money paid will be forfeited

  3. When the candidate reports to PESU at a later date, PESU will take a photo and perform finger print and facial recognition analysis to make sure that the candidate who wrote the test and the candidate being admitted are one and the same. In addition to the same, all necessary documents will be verified and any discrepancy found will result in forfeiting the admission. The PES University reserves the right for the admission of the candidate.
  • Please note that this process is valid only for students outside of Bangalore. If anybody inside Bangalore uses this facility, that admission will be forfeited
  • If the student is outside of Bangalore and has already made travel arrangements and would like to participate in the counseling at Bangalore Centre, then he/she is most welcome to do so
  • Eligibility: An aggregate score of at least 50% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Math) in the class 12 / 2nd PUC exam is a must. The necessary documents should be provided by the candidate later and will be verified by the University. If this condition is not satisfied, the admission of the candidate will be forfeited. Kindly ensure the eligibility before depositing the fee to the University
  • Please be aware that the University will verify all the documents for eligibility and thoroughness at a later stage and if there is any deficiency, the seat will be forfeited. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure he/she meets the eligibility criteria and the genuineness of the documents/information submitted. PES University reserves the full right for admissions
  • Candidate who has secured a seat through PESSAT JEE Mains quota need not compete for a seat through regular PESSAT quota as the fee structure for both the programs are the same for all the years of study. However, they can participate in the PESSAT counseling for an upgradation of their specialization if they so desire
  • If the candidate has blocked a seat through higher fee quota/ management quota, and if he/she secures a seat through PESSAT quota, the higher fee quota/ management quota seat (either confirmed or waiting) will be automatically forfeited and the difference amount between the higher fee quota fee and the PESSAT quota fee will be refunded to the candidate automatically
  • If the candidate secures a seat through PESSAT quota and also secures a seat through KCET to PES University for the same campus and for the same specialization, refund will be issued to the candidate for PESSAT/ JEE Mains quota seat and the candidate can do the final admissions through KCET quota.
